This is Readme file for Nways Manager June99 patch.  
There will be an increase of ~10MB under /usr after this
patch installed.
If OpenView is running you must close it before installing
this PTF.


** Content of this patch:
   The number of managed nodes displayed in License Status window
   may not be correct.
   
   Correction: The code that calculated the number of nodes being 
   managed by Nways Manager has been removed due to problems in
   discovery timing.  Columns labelled "Max Nodes Managed" and 
   "Current Nodes Managed" have been removed from the License Status
   window.  In addition, the Node Count Exceeded window will no
   longer be displayed even when the number of mananged nodes exceeds
   the number of licensed nodes.



** To install this patch:

NOTE: The install will stop the Nways Java Server.

  1.  - If you get this patch from a CDROM. First, mount the CDROM and
        copy nwaysmgrPTF.tar to /tmp directory and proceed to step 2.
  
      - If you get the patch from the web, download nwaysmgrPTF.tar 
        file into your directory of choice.  In this example, 
        nwaysmgrPTF.tar is stored under /tmp 
  
  2. Login as root     
      cd /tmp
      tar -xvf nwaysmgrPTF.tar

  3. Issue this command  
   
      swinstall -x match_target=true -s /tmp/nwaysmgrPTF 

NOTE: The install will start the Nways Java Server when finished.

      If you use a web Browser to access JMA's and you have copied
      the jar files to the remote workstation, you will have to re-
      copy usr/CML/JMA/java/websevr/code/CommonClasses.jar to the
      remote workstation. This action is necessary because the PTF
      changed the "jar file".


** To remove this patch, issue this command:
  
NOTE: This PTF should be uninstalled before Nways Manager V2.0 is uninstalled.

      swremove nwaysmgrPTF
